Come 13 Sept 2007, Muslim all over the world will embark on a month long fasting period. Start from sunrise up until sunset. (Pity those staying in Europe)
If you are visiting Kuala Lumpur or major town in Malaysia, you will find a carnival-like atmosphea at around 5-8pm. Bazaars and hawker stalls will be everywhere. Here, you can find and sample mostly everything from Grill Fish, spicy snacks, sweets cakes to the colourful drinks.
If you are in Kuala Lumpur, drop by Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman for the best experience from 10am-12midnight. As the Muslim countdown to the end of the fasting month, the places will be more crowded...make sure take care of your valuables as snatching does occur.
